Cartouches are formed by Late Baroque ornamentation on a white and pastel-lilac background. In those to either side there is a pair of doves. In the large oval field in the middle there is a man receiving children next to him is a grieving female figure, and on either side ladies and gentlemen watch the scene. On the verso, amidst gilded ornamentation, a pastoral idyll with four protagonists can be observed. The sticks are adorned with leaves and flowers with four petals each. A repp silk ribbon of golden yellow is attached to the handle. The embellishment on the sticks is almost identical to that of MAA inv. no. 80.719 (Cat. No. 105).
