The chair stands on two twisted legs at the front and two straight, tapering ones at the back. The sides of the trapezoid seat are wavy, curved. The middle part of the curved back support is inlaid with water lilies and dragon-flies. There is a stencil mark in ink, on the bottom upholstery of the seat «Schmidt Miksa / Budapest / V. Lipót Körút 3,4,6, Rudolf - tér 2 / Bathory utcza 3. / Friedrich Otto Schmidt / Wien».
