The splayed, egg-shaped bowl with a joint narrow neck and an opening top rim stands on a jointed, octagonal foot. A scrolled, gilt handle joins the neck on both sides. The side of the blue bowl is decorated with a painted scene: a Berlin city landscape, with the equestrian statue of king Frederick the Great at the front. The pair of the vase (Inv.no. 56.564) is also decorated with a view of Berlin.
