Straight blade, cut at the upper part the cut is decorated with etched, gilt foliage. The point of the blade is slightly curved. Both sides of the join of the handle are etched and gilt, with medallions, one of which is surmounted by an "M". The narrow handle is prismatic, with mother-of-pearl sheets in the middle of each side. The finial is a jointed button on a capital, decorated with acanthus leaves.
